Frequently asked questions.

HOW DO WE BOOK?

Once you have decided on a date, you can fill out an inquiry with the details of your shoot. A 50 euro deposit as well as a signed contract due the date of booking will secure your position on my calendar. The remaining balance is due the day of your shoot.

HOW FAR OUT DO YOU BOOK?

I book up to a year in advance.

WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I’m based in Lommel, Belgium. If you're within a 15 km radius, there’s no travel fee. For locations beyond that, I offer a custom travel fee. Please don't hesitate to reach out for an accurate travel quote based on your location.

HOW LONG DOES A PHOTOSHOOT TAKE?

That really depends on how the shoot goes. Typically, I would say an hour, it could be a little shorter or a little longer. I don’t time it, I only stop when I am certain there are enough fantastic photos to provide you with.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

My photography is characterized by a candid and documentary style. I also love capturing nostalgic, vintage-style scenes through my lens. As for colors, I like to keep things true-to-color warm. Color-grading is one of my favorite parts and really where the magic comes to life. However, I don't photoshop your bodies, your features, or clothing. You're beautiful as you are. The whole meaning behind my work is authenticity and photoshopping would completely take that away. Small blemishes can be taken care of upon request. Please also note that NO Raws will be given.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS?

I bought my first professional camera in 2020 during COVID. It was something that I wanted to grow in as I had an interest for it since I was a kid. I have put a lot of time into growing my skills the past years and continuously look for new ways to evolve.

HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

I deliver all my photos through an online private gallery. You’ll receive them within 4-5 weeks of your shoot date. Depending on my schedule, I can deliver photos even sooner, so keep an eye on your email! I know waiting for your photos can be the worst, but trust me, I’m making sure your photos get delivered in the best possible quality.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE RECEIVE?

You will receive your photos through an online private gallery where you’ll be able to choose 15 of your favorite photos. Extra photos can be bought for an additional cost.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I'm fluent in both English and Dutch! So, depending on your native language, we can communicate in whichever language you prefer during the shoot.

CAN YOU HELP ME CHOOSE A LOCATION?

Take some time to think of locations that are personal to you and your story: a park you go to, where you met, your first date, your home, etc. The more connection you have to a place, the more you'll treasure your photos.

INCORPORATING ACTIVITIES

One simple thing can totally elevate your photos: incorporating an activity—especially one you already love. Whether it’s a couples session or a solo portrait, think about the things you genuinely enjoy doing (together or on your own), and let me capture that. It’ll seriously take your shoot to the next level!

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I love exploring and traveling. So if you have an adventurous location in mind, I can’t wait to make it happen! Feel free to fill out my contact form for a more accurate travel expense quote.

CAN YOU HELP US WITH PLANNING?

Of course! I love curating a shoot and coming up with colors, aesthetics, and scenes. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any ideas or questions—I’m here to help every step of the way!

WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST FOR LIGHTING?

I like to schedule all outdoor photoshoots for sunrise and sunset. I usually don't schedule mid-day photoshoots because the sun is high and harsh overhead creating unflattering light and shadow. If you choose to shoot indoors, make sure it's a spot with open windows and natural light.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?

I love neutral and earth tones that compliment each other. The style and color of your clothing help tell your story. Make sure they are appropriate for your location. Flowy clothing like dresses or loose blouses work really well. Also accessories like a jacket or a hat are fun to work with as they bring options. I would recommend staying away from busy prints or really bright colors as they take away the focus from you and can cause unflattering skin tones.

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

Sessions are held rain or shine! If it rains, we embrace it—think romantic, movie-scene vibes with playful moments in the rain. It’s a beautiful way to create unique, unforgettable photos.

That said, if the forecast calls for severe weather or conditions become unsafe, we’ll absolutely reschedule. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather and will keep you updated every step of the way.
